City of Charlottetown

To represent Charlottetown’s designation as a port city, we incorporated waves into our capital city’s logo design. The blue used here not only reflects water, but was chosen for its evocation of trust and respect. The maple leaf created in the negative space amongst the waves is a nod to our country and to the fact that Charlottetown was host to The Charlottetown Conference, the meeting that led to the beginning of Canada, earning the city its nickname "The Birthplace of Confederation".
